MS Windows platform

Download Orange-setup.exe to install the software (Orange, Orange Canvas and widgets) and the data sets from our examples.

The installation will also install the following components, if not found on your machine:

  • Python 2.3.2-1 (Python-2.3.2-1.exe)
  • Numeric 23.1
  • Qt 2.3.0 Non-Commercial Edition (File qt-mt230nc.dll will be copied into your system directory.)
  • PyQt 3.6 Non-Commercial
  • PyQwt Qt230-3.8

Once installed, the "Orange" menu item will appear in the Start->Programs menu.

 An "Orange Canvas" icon will appear on the desktop. Click on it to run the software and work with widgets and schemas.
